About Naborio
An independent guide to comparing cities, communities and the arithmetic of housing without disguising estimates as facts.
Author and editor
Paulo Araujo is the author and editor of Naborio, published from Alberta, Canada. Paulo researches, writes and maintains Naborio's city and community guides. His work focuses on practical housing trade-offs, transparent calculations, clearly dated facts, and making the limits of estimates visible rather than presenting them as certainty. He can be reached directly at contact@naborio.com.
Naborio is the publisher. Each guide is titled Live in followed by the place it describes.
The work is research-led. Published government records, municipal data, statistical agencies, housing indexes, maps and other identified sources support factual claims. Editorial conclusions connect those facts and are labelled as judgment; they should not be read as firsthand experience unless a guide expressly says so.
What this project is
Naborio helps residents and people considering a move understand how places differ in geography, housing, transit, services, costs and everyday trade-offs. It covers cities in Canada and the United States using each country's own terminology, mortgage conventions and local tax rules.
What it is not
It is not a real-estate listing service, a paid ranking system, a lender, an insurance broker or financial advice. A guide is a researched starting point, not a substitute for inspecting a property, confirming a school boundary, obtaining an insurance quote or speaking with a qualified professional.
Editorial standards
- Material figures identify the period they describe.
- Estimates and derived values are distinguished from published measurements.
- Sources are linked where a verified public URL is available.
- A review date records an editorial review, not a guarantee that every underlying dataset changed that day.
- Corrections are checked against the most authoritative available evidence.
Independence and advertising
Naborio carries no advertising today. If it does, the advertising will be sold by a third party, will not determine which places are covered or what a guide says, and any sponsorship, referral relationship or paid placement will be identified where it appears. Advertisements are not endorsements of the advertiser, lender, broker or product shown.
Corrections and updates
Housing markets, tax schedules, school designations and local services change. The publication prioritizes corrections to claims that could materially affect a housing decision. See the research methodology and contact page to report a problem.
